Lil Yachty and Young Thug are not your average rappers, and the visual for their latest collaboration, “On Me” (off the upcoming Quality Control project Control the Streets Volume One), proves that to be true. In the new visual, the two rappers throw a wild hotel party at Ace Hotel in New York City and invite a diverse set of guests to join the festivities.
The Liam Macrae-directed clip starts off with Yachty greeting his friends outside the hotel where he takes a photo with Migos‘ Offset, before heading upstairs to his party. Yachty is then seen performing his verse in the middle of a room in front of the calm, expressionless individuals scattered about. Then, the camera cuts to a clip of an elderly woman tied up with rope doing yoga, and then a magician who turns fire into a dove.
Later in the visual, Thugger is up next to perform for the party crowd. “Know you got a real big bag, don’t you?/ You think about a Jag, don’t you?/ You’re poppin’ these tags, don’t you?/ Makin’ love to the d–k, won’t you?” Thug raps as he and Lil’ Boat take turns flexing in front of a fish-eye lens.
“On Me” follows Migos’ previously released video for “Too Hotty,” also featured on the upcoming QC compilation.
