Well for one… the bench was horrible last night. Secondly wade, and bosh are injured but with that said, Harden barely played and Battier stepped up to the plate. YEA, I do know Bosh came off the bench, but he only scored 11 points in 34 minutes on 4/11 shooting. Thats horrible as a bigman.
Nick collison has gotten no credit. Dude has one of the most humbling careers. He went from lottery pick to defensive specialist. He had 10 boards, 5 offensive btw and he protected the rim. The problem is the heats best players cant shoot three’s as effectively as Durant.
Therefore, the Heat should run plays for James Jones, Chalmers, and Battier. Miller is hobbled and can barely run up and down the court right now. People wanna blame Wade, but he had 8 assists, so he made up for his shooting trouble.
It comes down to fortitude in the fourth. Lebron had 7 points in the fourth, but he also promised 4,5,6 rings so he made that bed and gotta sleep in it.
Miami really lost because they got three happy after making a lot and they lived and died by it.
Also in the fourth, with Sefolosha guarding Bron, KD was on Wade…which sucks for Miami…. because KD is deceptively quick and can guard from afar with them long arms. Miami needed to beat the paint up and rack fouls up on the bigs of OKC and when the dust settled, not even a night where Lebron went for 30 points 4 steals, 4 assists and 9 rebounds could help keep the Heat hot until victory, as they lost by 11 105-94. Game 2 is in OKC Tomorrow at 9:00 est.
